I’m not much for anniversaries but it has been fifteen years. That is the milestone cloud computing will cross in 2021. A decade and a half of innovation and transformation in both business models and operating models across the globe for companies of all shapes and sizes, all started with the launch of Simple Storage Service (S3) and Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) back in 2006. Since then, essentially every aspect of our lives has been reshaped forever–whether it is how we travel (Uber, Airbnb), how we eat (Grubhub), how we watch (Netflix) or how we love (Tinder).
